On Thursday, February 26, the Calvert Marine Museum
will present An Evening With Joe Stead at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium.

Joe is one of Great Britain’s most well-known folk musicians,
collectors, teachers, recorders, and performers. He started singing
professionally in 1966, has played all the major festivals in Great
Britain, and has toured America multiple times. The founding member of Kimber’s Men, a highly acclaimed sea Chantey group in England, the
group has made two recordings: “Don’t Take The Heroes” and “See You
When the Sun Goes Down.” Joe also recorded four solo albums including
“Valparaiso Round the Horn: A Journey in Song” released in 2000.
